Lighting - Growing Smart Project

Highlighting the contents of Malaga’s wide cultural diversity is important, but the continent where they are located is equally important.

This is why the Alive project was conceived for the MUPAM building in Malaga (Municipal Heritage Museum). It is an area with multiple historic points of interest, museums and a new leisure area, Muelle Uno. Muelle Uno has modern architecture and unique position in the city but it is also the only headquarter in the world for the Pompidou Museum aside from the one in Paris. It is necessary to find something extra to unleash the full potential of the museum.

Thus, an intelligent lineal lighting scheme has been projected to make the building a landmark in the cultural sector of the town as well as to create an absolutely renewed and avant-garde image. The building structure will count on a totally integrated lighting system respecting its orography and light pollution will be avoided.

Our Studio conceived this project to help the museum become a cultural ideal and positioning it as a creative performance in a Smart City.
